Amazon app users on iOS are currently facing issues that limit their ability to place new orders and view purchase history. This issue seems to have affected some users in India and several other markets. However, it’s important to point out that not all Amazon customers are facing problems.
Users of Amazon’s Android app do not seem to be affected. When Gadgets 360 contacted the US e-commerce giant, it acknowledged the problem some users were facing and promised to bring a fix.

The apparent problem that has been occurring since Tuesday afternoon seems to be present not only in India, but also in users in various other parts of the world, including Europe and the United States. Some affected users have stated that reinstalling the app does not resolve the issue.
An Amazon spokesperson acknowledged the problem in an emailed statement to Gadgets 360. “We’re sorry that some customers may be experiencing issues while shopping. We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve the issue,” the spokesperson said.
However, the spokesman did not explicitly state whether the problem was limited to a particular iPhone model or a particular iOS version. Gadgets 360 was unable to reproduce the problem at the time of writing.
