Sony is offering a new version of its Xperia 10 III smartphone in its home country of Japan. The company announced the Xperia 10 III Lite today (via GSMArena), which will go on sale at several Japan-based MVNO carriers on August 27.
This phone has three rear cameras, in which the primary lens is 12 megapixels wide angle, while the second lens is 8 megapixels ultra wide angle and the third lens is 8 megapixels telephoto lens. The phone has an 8-megapixel camera for selfie.
Sony Xperia 10 III Lite packs a 4500mAh battery. Apart from this, it has a side mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone has dual SIM support with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C port and 5G.
Snapdragon 690 processor has been given in this new smartphone of Sony. Apart from this, triple rear camera setup has been given in it. The phone has Android 11 OS.
Sony Xperia 10 III Lite is priced at 46,800 Japanese Yen (JPY) i.e. around Rs 70,000. This price is of 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant. The phone can be purchased in White, Blue, Black and Pink colors. The sale of the phone will be in Japan from August 27, 2021. The standard Xperia 10 III costs JPY 51,480, or €429 (~$518) if you purchase it in Europe. It looks doubtful that Sony will sell this Lite model in the US, but you never know.
